Suggested Reading
The following books are suggested reading, particularly for those who are
just starting out, particularly solitaries. I highly recommend anything by Scott Cunningham. (
Please see my notes regarding Scott Cunningham.)
I will also state that I think anything by Silver Ravenwood is a bad choice.
| Title | Author |
| "Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" | Scott Cunningham |
| "Living Wicca: A Further Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" | Scott Cunningham |
| "The Veil's Edge: Exploring the Boundaries of Magic" | Willow Polson |
| "Encyclopedia of Wicca & Witchcraft" | Raven Grimassi |
| "Wiccan Magick: Inner Teachings of the Craft" | Raven Grimassi |
| "Drawing Down the Moon: Witches, Druids, Goddess-Worshippers and Other Pagans in America Today" | Margot Adler |
| "The Spiral Dance: A Rebirth of the Ancient Religion of the Great Goddess" | Starhawk |
| "What Witches Do: A Modern Coven Revealed" | Stewart Farrar |
| "The Pagan Religions of the Ancient British Isles: Their Nature and Legacy" | Ronald Hutton |
This list is a short list and there are better reading lists on the net. Rather than
duplicating work, I will point to here for a much more comprehensive list.

Disclaimer:
As I discuss Wicca as a religion on this site I describe the Wiccan religion
with respect to my personal viewpoint, or, perhaps my "tradition". Different traditions describe things
differently and those traditions may hold different concepts, beliefs and
codes.
